School Emergency Guide For Parents (PDF)
The purpose of this guide is to provide a quick reference for parents when there is a crisis at school, describe what parents can do to best help their children before and during the incident, and explain the process for the safe return of your child.
After an emergency or crisis, it is our goal to reunite you with your child as soon as the situation has stabilized. Quincy Public Schools created a Reunification Plan to assist in the safe return of your child to you or your designee. School administration will implement this plan at the earliest opportunity. We want to ensure that we return them to an appropriate person as soon as we can. To that end, we request that only persons previously approved come to pick up a child and that they bring a government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License). A reunification card will assist in helping school staff safely return your student to you.
